Description:

Run this app named Diabetic Injection Site Selector using MyAndroid.
You can do it using our Android online emulator.
People diagnosed with Type I diabetes are currently using two forms of technology to better manage their chronic disease.
Insulin pumps and CGMs have demonstrated significant effects of keeping Type 1 diabetes within better range of their glucose levels.
To this end, these patients will be dependent on this technology for the rest of their lives.
The literature is quite clear that after time the infusion sites become less effective due to the effects of the infusion (fat build up at the injection site).
Currently, Diabetics using insulin pumps need to replace their infusion site every three days and their CGMs every 10 days or less.
This app provides a visual map of past injection sites to enable the patient, or parent/caregiver to make a better informed decision as to where to place their next piece of technology in an organized pattern with the long term goal of not over using a specific part of their skin.
For simplicity, it provides a default recommendation, but this is not a piece of registered and tested medical technology and has no warranty; you should consult with a doctor and follow the doctor's advice.
This is currently an early-stage app showing very basic functionality.
Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome.
