This is a live wallpaper that simulates the dance of subatomic particles such as electrons, protons, and neutrons.
If left alone, the particles will coalesce into atoms, which you can then break apart again with your fingers .

Particles
Protons, neutrons, electrons, positrons, neutrinos, and gamma rays (purple ripples).

Forces
Electromagnetic, strong nuclear, weak nuclear, and finger .

Nucleosynthesis
The strong nuclear force pulls protons and neutrons together to form nuclei.

Nuclear drip line
Isotopes that are stable in real life are also stable here.
Unstable isotopes undergo the correct form of decay to become a stable isotope.

Beta- decay
The weak nuclear force causes a free neutron or a neutron in a neutron-rich nucleus to turn into a proton while emitting an electron and a neutrino.

Battery level visualization : As your device's battery goes down, the simulation slows down.

Unrealisms
Relative particle masses and sizes and force strengths are tuned for visuals, not realism.
Very limited quantum mechanics (gamma ray waves only).
Alpha decay doesn't exist without quantum mechanics.
Electron orbitals don't exist without quantum mechanics.
Chemical bonding doesn't exist without orbitals.
Momentum but not energy is conserved during beta decay.
Particles undergo inelastic collisions with the edges of the screen, so that total energy slowly declines, allowing for heavier elements to form.
