A Mac Mini running Xcode and Visual Studio 2019 for Mac in macOS Catalina is paired to the laptop to allow compilation to iOS.
Xamarin allows for cross-platform application development as the C# and XAML code is written once in a generic dot Net (.Net) project, then automagically compiled and deployed for iOS and Android devices (and Windows devices, too, if you really have to go down that route.
