RaiPay Hungary

You can add your Raiffeisen Mastercard card to the RaiPay mobile payment application so that you can pay for your purchases at shops quickly and safely, with one single movement using your Android mobile device.

Use it with a mobile device running Android 5 or higher version that supports NFC payment and provides access to Google Store.
Why use it?
With your Android mobile device, you can pay for your purchases at shops quickly and safely, with one single movement, without physically using your card.
You can also use it for cash withdrawal in HUF from Raiffeisen ATMs in Hungary.
Safe: before each transaction, you are required to unlock the device in the way set in the device (fingerprint scan, facial recognition, password or pattern), and in the case of transactions of high amount (and certain devices) you are required to approve payment with the RaiPay passcode provided previously in the application.
Neither the mobile device, nor the RaiPay application stores physical card data, and they do not share these with the merchants either.
Practical advice
Turning on the NFC function
Always check before payment that the NFC function of the mobile phone is turned on.
In the case of Xiaomi phones, do not forget to set the relevant NFC type as well (Use HCE Wallet).
Set RaiPay as your default mobile payment service
If you choose RaiPay as your default mobile payment service, in order to pay you only have to unlock the device in the way set in the device (fingerprint scan, facial recognition, password or pattern), and in the case of transactions of high amount (and certain devices) you are required to approve payment with the RaiPay passcode provided previously in the application.
INTERNET CONNECTION
You need an active internet connection to register the application or to add cards.
For payment, turning on the NFC scanner is enough.
DEFAULT CARD
If you register more than one cards in the RaiPay application, you can also set one card as default card used for payments.
If you want to pay with a card that is not your default card, before the transaction open the application, select another card, and hold the device close to the terminal only after this.
