Nowadays, each new car model must pass emissions tests that are conducted on public roads.
Official tests require expensive external test equipment, but LolaDrives can approximate these tests with very inexpensive equipment.
Live Monitoring:
With a very inexpensive adapter, LolaDrives can connect to your car and read diagnostic information while driving.
You can select the data you want to record.
After a trip, you can inspect the data that has been collected.
Data Donations:
Completely optionally, you can decide to opt-in to our data donation feature.
Your data can help us, a team of researchers at Saarland University, to analyse the behaviour of cars in the wild.

- You need a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter to connect LolaDrives with your car.
Such adapters are available for around 10.
- Not all car models are compatible to conduct RDE tests.

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for LolaDrives. It only allows to test online LolaDrives with apkid de.unisaarland.loladrives. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run LolaDrives online.
