One morning, like any other, already a few leagues away from his home, Zanderby found a fruit he had never seen before: two reddish spheres united by some sort of limb.
Its flavor was unexpected yet surprising, but once he ended up swallowing the fruit, an entrance gate with a weird light appeared right before his eyes and something inside it incited him to get in.
Armed with just a sword, the young Zanderby got through the gate that led him to an unknown world full of hostile and frightening beasts and hair-raising adventures.
He still wonders if he will ever find another gate which will take him back home.
