Malariable detects the presence of malarial parasite in the blood stream of the patient and could be used by doctors and pathologists.
The user has to upload an image of a stained blood smear of the patient using the camera of the microscope.
The image then goes through our cutting edge pre-trained machine learning models and gives out the results instantly.
The machine learning model is made from neural networks algorithm, over 20,000 blood smear images from a local pathology lab were used to train our model.
The model has an accuracy of 98%.
We are in process to get approval of expert pathologists for the app.
