What is U-Tag-A-Long.
U-Tag-A-Long is an amazing app that allows you to connect with other drivers on the road.
How it works-Download the app and create an account.
You will receive the message to select your plan, which is standard or premium.
You will be given a 14 day free trial for each download.
You are then taken to an app locker screen where you can select a pin to open the app, this feature is voice control.
A pin can be a number or a word.
You can disable the option by selecting the icon on the upper right of the screen.
You are then taken to the homepage, where a map will appear of the area.
On the left side of the screen, you will find your menu to complete your profile, setting, and screen mode for dark or standard.
From the homepage select online to start scanning the area for other users.
The app will scan every 15 seconds if you are not connected to a driver informing you no drivers in the area, meaning the app is not found.
You may see 1 or multiple vehicles that will appear as car icons on your screen.
Touch the car icon and this sends out a request to the driver you selected to tagalong.
The driver will receive a request to accept or decline the request.
If the driver accepts the request the apps are connected until the range is exceeded or the driver or exit app.
During connection you can the ability to call a driver, however, your phone number will appear on the caller id.
If the driver declines the request you will receive a message that the user did not answer.
You can create a driving buddy by adding a driver to your tag history found in the setting menu.
You can add your contacts also in the setting.
The app is voice control to select from your tag history once a driver is added to look for a driver you have tagged before.
If you go to work the same way each day you can alert your driving buddy that you are near.
This helps ease fears when stuck in traffic or being on the expressway your driving buddy is aware you are there and may help if needed.
If you need medical assistance or law enforcement, on the homepage is emergency selection for 911 for help even if you don't tag another driver.
You have the ability to receive incoming and outgoing calls while the app is in use by other callers.
