The concept is that students will buy and sell used textbooks, furniture, clothes as well as others items such as electronics.
The goal is that The Undergrad will facilitate financial exchanges between students in terms of accessibility to items and distance between buyer and seller.
Once the app connects buyers and sellers, they are able to see each other's profiles prior to enabling a chat between each other.
Once the exchange is over, students are still able to chat through the app potentially leading to future exchanges or even personal relationships.
The Undergrad incentives recycling as many students end up throwing books away after not finding a buyer.
This is due to the fact that many books provided in University can be very specific for a course and harder to sell outside the University.
