All around the world students face many problems, and one of the very prominent problems is students not being able to get a teacher that they can learn from.
Teachers try to have as many students as they want, even though they may not be able to provide what the students want.
Teachers arent the only to be blamed for that, as for most teaching is the only source of income to run their homes.
All students are different and their demands are different, not everyone would like to take the same course, not everyone could understand a concept at the same pace, not everyone could afford the same fees.
We must understand this and try not to always blame students for not performing up to their potential.
We thought this through and came up with a reasonably simple solution.
A source of information where we can find about all the teachers around, their style of teaching, the subjects they teach, the fees they charge etc.
and what better could be than a mobile application in the day and age we live in.
So here we introduce you Rapport, a mobile application that helps both students and teachers.
Students can find information about the teachers like the course syllabus, style of teaching, pace of teaching, communication skills, solving queries, fees etc.
which is given by other students.
Teachers, on the other hand, get a chance to reach out to many new students, the application also creates a sense of competition among the teachers and serves as a natural check for their skills.
This is the foundation idea behind Rapport but surely many other features will be added in the future to make the process of teaching and learning much easier and fun.
The idea of Rapport has come into existence from our own past experiences with teachers or the institutions which gradually lead us towards the wastage of our valuable resources like time and money and held us a little back in the process of learning and had put our future on stake.
Thats the reason we dont want any students to suffer through this painful process ever again in the way of learning.
If you think Rapport is just another review app, please reconsider it.
The problem app tries to solve is a major one and yet never addressed.
The root problem is students not having enough knowledge of the teachers they want to join.
So in todays times where information is distributed openly, we decided to create a platform, students can discover new teachers and what others think about them.
This basic knowledge about the teacher will let the student make informed as well as better decisions.
In turn, this will also alleviate the standard of education provided by the tutors, as it will break the monopoly created by some teachers and make a more open and clean space where skill and knowledge are appreciated rather than name and fame.
We have made Rapport so that it is easy to use as well as does its job perfectly.
We take a review from students in the form of multiple questions, all having multiple choices to answer.
Students can also share their thoughts in the form of additional comments.
