This app allows you to automate deleting redundant WhatsApp database files at your own time.
Just select the time and days on which you want the files to be deleted and relax.
There's no need to open your file manager and delete those files manually, every day, just to save some space.
No, cleaning apps don't clear these files for you and moreover WhatsApp does this local backup daily which contains only your chat data.
For example - Let's say you used WhatsApp on Monday.
Whatsapp generates a backup file on Tuesday which has all the previous chats till that Tuesday.
On Tuesday, you again used WhatsApp.
It again generates another backup file on Wednesday which has all previous chats till that Wednesday.
Now, you no longer need the old backup file which was generated on Tuesday as all your chats are stored in the latest generated backup file.
This happens daily and deleting these files can save a lot of memory on your phone( Yay! extra photos.)
Deleting these files won't affect your chat, image, and Video data while using WhatsApp.
You can still store the latest database by enabling a setting in Cleanse if you feel like you need one backup on your phone which has all the chats.
I hope WhatsApp adds something soon to solve this problem.
Note: For the app to work effectively, lock the app in the recent apps tray, enable autostart, and remove battery restrictions if any.
Every time you reboot the phone, the entered time gets reset.
So, delete the old one and enter a new schedule.
