On behalf of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore and the 29th Singapore Pharmacy Congress Organising Committee, I would like to invite you to return in October 2019 for our annual event, which will be held once again at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from 5th to 6th October 2019.
The Congress shall consist of a 2-day scientific programme, covering relevant areas in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences.
It will feature plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and poster presentations as well as commercial exhibitions and a social event.
2019s theme, Educate, Engage & Empower for a Future Ready Pharmacy, aims to focus on meeting Singapores future healthcare needs and challenges, in alignment with the Ministry of Healths vision of Beyond Healthcare 2020.
We hope to touch on innovative therapies to meet our patients needs, and solutions to improve the accessibility of healthcare to our population.
In addition, we will also talk about the increasing role of technology in our healthcare landscape to improve the effectiveness of care.
Lastly, we will focus on strengthening the soft skills of pharmacists to develop a new generation of communicators and leaders.
We will also discuss solutions to expand the pharmacists role from hospital to community by collaborating in multidisciplinary care
