Run this app named HeaTra using MyAndroid.
You can do it using our Android online emulator.
One dimensional and two dimensional heat transfer simulation.
onduction and convection are simulated using finite volume method (FVM).
1D/2D domain is divided into elements(control volumes) and conservation equations are discretized.
Six different class of problems are described here.
1) 1D heat transfer through semi-infinite plate with fixed temperature at both ends.
2) 1D heat transfer through semi-infinite plate with fixed temperature at one end and constant heat flux at other end.
3) 1D heat transfer through cylinder (arbitrary cross section) boundary conditions: constant temperature, constant heat flux and convection.
4) 1D heat transfer through insulated circular cylinder with boundary conditions: constant temperature, constant heat flux and convection on ends and convection through lateral surface.
Uniform heat generation is also simulated
5) 2D heat transfer in rectangular domain.
Boundary conditions: constant temperature, constant heat flux and convection.
6) 2D axisymmetric heat transfer in insulated pipe.

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for HeaTra. It only allows to test online HeaTra with apkid com.nipinl.fvm1d. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run HeaTra online.
