MetricGate uses a powerful backend server to handle heavy statistical analysis of large data files and automatically saves all your data files and results in a secure database.

2) Creating an Account:

Since it's a cloud-based app, each user is required to create an account after installing the app.
This will allow you to start a project from one phone and carry on your analysis in another phone in case the first one dies or breaks.

You can upload data files (.csv, .xlsx, .sav, .xpt, .dta) to your MyDrive and then import them to your DataEditor

Data Editor

- A Data Editor is an editable matrix that consists of columns (variables) and rows (observations).
- A column could be numeric, logical, factor, date or character.
- You can add/delete columns or rows.
- You can edit cells one by one or edit the whole column at once by entering a formula in the calculator.

Statistical Calculator

Using the calculator you can:
- set the values of a column as a function of other columns.
- transorm a column's values by applying a mathematical function.
- create random variables.
- computing summaries like mean, variance, etc.

If you have at least one variable (column) and one non-empty row in your Data Editor, you can display an interactive chart (pie chart, scatter chart, bar chart, .)
