Volpass is an app and website centered all around volunteering.
Our software connects volunteers and organizers, creating a volunteering network.
Users can use the app to view and register for events.
Additionally, we have integrated a google map to make it easier for users to see which events are near their location.
Our software also allows users to track down their volunteering hours in an online format.
You can request for volunteering hours and the organizers will sign off those hours for you using an online signature pad.
Your hours will be tracked in a volunteering hours log, which can be printed.
You also give feedback in the discussion page of an event by posting comments and giving likes and dislikes.
Roles
Guests: Guests have the ability to view events and search for them on the google map.
Thats as far as they can go.
They will need to create an account to use further functionalities.
User: Users have all the abilities of a guest but can also register for events, post comments, and use the volunteer hour log to track down their volunteering hours.
Organizer: Organizers have all the abilities of a user, but can also create events and credit hours with a digital signature.
Ambassador: Volpass an an ambassador program, where the main purpose is for students to market events and create events for organizers.
When you register as an ambassador, you dont have immediate access to the app.
You need to get approval by the Volpass development team, and then you can proceed to use the app.
