These tenements are allotted to the slum families on aheavily subsidized
hire purchase system, at the rate of Rs.250/- per month for aperiod of 20
years.
The slums located in unobjectionable areas, wherein the equitable distribution
of space to all is not feasible, are cleared and tenemental schemes put up.
