Welcome to Race Day App, the groundbreaking app that can receive stats from your Garmin watch, while your runner is in a race.
Race Day App makes use of the Bluetooth technology built into your phone in order to receive stats from your Garmin watch.
Therefore, you can use this app to keep tabs on your friend/son/daughter as they run a race.
This app can receive data like distance, time, pace, and heart rate from your runners watch, so that you can know how your runner is doing without the guesswork! With this app, you can know at what part of the race you are cheering on your runner, and how long it should take your runner to finish the race! In addition, this app could be useful to cyclists who would like to see their own stats like heart rate right on their phone, without even looking down at their watch!

In order for this app to work, the phone that you will hold during the race needs to be paired with the watch.
Download Race Day App (BETA) on your watch.

Download Race Day App (BETA) (This App) on the phone that your watch is paired to.
Open Race Day App (BETA) (This App) on your phone and look for your device.
If you dont see it, try opening Garmin Connect Mobile and then returning to this app.
Once you have confirmed that your device is visible in this app, you are done! Race Day App (BETA) has stored your watch.
Now you can exit the app until the race.
USAGE (When the race is about to begin):
The onlooker:
\tOpen Race Day App (BETA) on your phone.
Tap the watch you would like to keep track of.
Now just hold tight.
When the runner runs by, the app should send data about the race to the phone!
The runner:
\tSelect Race Day from the list of apps on your watch.
It should be in the same list as the default run app.
Press the start button to begin your activity.
