Our story:
We are brother and sister from Belarus and both have been learning English for years.
As most people do, we used to put down English words and their translations on a paper notebook.
Sometimes we used an occasional piece of paper, when the notebook was left behind (common case, yeah?).
And of course it was a real pain to check yourself or repeat specific words only - it was just a paper book in the end, not a magic app.
So we decided to create that magic Vocaby app, simple and useful so that one can put it on their phone, keep their vocabulary right with them and practice anytime!
Features:
- Manage the list of words in any foreign language you are studying.
- Add multiple translations for a word.
- Add text notes for a word (e.g.
word usage example, transcription or simply a comment).
- View the whole list of your words, search through it and expand word details on the fly.
- Group words into lists for learning (the same word can belong to many lists ).
- Learn a list: go through the list of words in a random order and check yourself.
Here you can switch between two modes: word-translation (see a word and recall a translation) or translation-word (see a translation and recall a word).
- View short statistics on each list (how many times and the last time you learned it).
- Search words, translations and lists.
- Sort words and lists (alphabetically or by date).
- Export/Import your vocabulary.
- Pick one of two color themes for your app.
- COMING SOON: Listen to the pronunciation of any word.

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for Vocaby. It only allows to test online Vocaby with apkid com.emptypocket.vocaby. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run Vocaby online.
