This Android app, called Masjid "Al-Mustafa Namaz Timings" is a very useful mobile app for the users of one of the biggest Islamic centre is Auckland with user base of nearly 5000 users.
This app has following main features that are implemented and thoroughly tested.
1).
The app sends the call for prayer alarm notifications to the mobile phones of the users, who download and install it in their android phones.
2).
The notifications are sent for all five times prayer timings, i.e., Fajr, Zuhr, Asar, Maghrib, Isha.
3).
It also sends alaram notification for Friday afternoon main prayer, called Jummaa prayers.
4).
The notifications are sent on the user mobile, xx minutes before the actual prayer timings Pt(y).
5).
The prayer timings Pt(y) are set by the admin(s) for each of these six prayer timings via the admin panel, which is delivered separately as the Web application.
The timings are changed on average once per week.
6).
The notifications time "xx" minutes before the actual prayer time Pt(y) is also set by the admin in the admin panel.
7).
If a user's mobile phone is turned off, the notifications are not sent to the user's mobile.
8).
If the user mobile is silent, the notifications is still sent to the user's mobile, considering that the user want to know the prayer timing and manage his schedule to do the prayer on the particular time.
However there will be sound so that user's privacy is regarding eg., if he or she is in the important work meeting.
9).
A user can cancel the alarm notification upon sliding notification panel down.

All these features are very helpful to the user to manage his life and pray on time.
