Project Context
Transportation is one of the many problems that a student or an employee can normally encounter.
We cannot deny that the town is experiencing an increase of urban issues that need to be resolved instantly.
Some of these are bad public transport system, aggravating the city's traffic condition, flooding in many parts, and environmental issues.
Many Umians residing in the outskirts of the city discover it difficult to go to school or going home using public transportation during rainy days.
Some would have to wait hours to ride one.
Others are considered late in their respective classes or else marked as absent by not arriving on time.
Lacking of Public transportation is not only a problem on going to school but most especially when going home.
Even if there are many PUJs and PUVs here in Davao City still not enough for the number of commuters daily here in our city.
Based on the online survey that is conducted to Umians they Address the issue of not arriving at classes on time due to difficulty of the transportation.
Others took too long on waiting for a vacant puj or puv that he/she can ride on his/her way to school or going home.
These problem encourage the researchers to develop anapplication that can help users/students from University of Mindanao to easily look for an alternative transportation when going to school or going home
