Challenging greens meander through parts of the 150-acre Oak Preserve, rising to some of the area's highest points and allowing for an exquisite combination of challenging play, panoramic views and breathtaking surroundings.
PGA TOUR player consultant Mark O'Meara lent his expertise to all phases of the layout, but particularly on the greens, which he softened from the original plans so all levels of golfer would be able to putt the greens.
The TPC Valencia kept hazards to a minimum; it only has two water hazards on the course and just 27 bunkers.
The course is a masterful blend of challenge and playability for the enjoyment of all skill levels of golfer from beginner to PGA touring professionals.
The accolades do not end with the golf course however; the "Old California Ranch Style" clubhouse features 36,000 square feet, which include the Oaks Grill room, Newhall board room, Valencia private dining room and outdoor dining along with a full men's and women's locker room and a world class golf shop.
