Gem.eco-Friendly Recycle Foundation was created in 2017.
It was created by Gem Silva, a construction worker since the age of 14.
Today he is 36 years old, originally born in Brazil but raised by a brazilian and Portuguese family in Toronto.
Gem.eco-friendlyrecyclefoundation also known as GEMECO was created with the intention of trying to minimize waste in construction job sites, and create awareness of Reusing, Reducing and Recycling.
In the year of 2019, GEMECO washonoured to be showcased on city TV with 7 episodes airing every Sunday at 11: 30am through a Portuguese channel across Canada, showcasing donations throughout charity events, and supporting sponsors that have partnered with the foundation.
Unfortunately, in the beginning of 2020 Covid-19 hit and GEMECO was forced into an abrupt halt, leaving us to face a much bigger problem this year than last year.
A lot of people are unemployed, businesses getting shutdown for good, and even CN 360 restaurant filing forbankruptcy.
Because of this unfortunate time, GEMECO had to put their passion for recycling unwanted material from construction job sites, to recycling hearts and trying to give them hope throughout these difficult times that we are going through.
But in order for us to make this happen,
we need the help of our essential workers in our community.
That is what has brought us here, so
Gem.eco-friendly Recycle Foundation is proud to present to you (Hand to Heart's Meal)
Our truck will travel across Ontarios cities, parking on main streetsand always giving a nice meal to random people.
We believe that Covid19 has affected every class, and therefore we want to do our part in helping everyone in any way that we can.

has created an app that will allow anyone to be able to track where our food truck will be in the next following weeks.
