This is why there is no Call in Actual Chat:
- If you join a conversation while it happens, you get a real-time conversation, which is very similar to phone call (but with a full transcript)
- Otherwise you can read or replay it later, and its very similar to texts, or transcribed voice messages.
Thats the key part of the unique experience we offer now.
Besides that, there are many other features any modern-day chat is expected to have:
- Chat markup with @mentions, `code` and ```code blocks```, *italic*, **bold**, etc.
- Photo and file sharing
