WinSCANOPY Mobile is a complementary application for Regent Instruments WinSCANOPY for Windows software and O-Mount hardware for hemispherical photos acquisition and analysis.
During photo acquisition in field or forest it records the camera orientation relative to magnetic north (and optionally the lattitude and longitude) and store it into a LOG file or the image file (depending upon the camera model).
These data are then used by WinSCANOPY for Windows to compute radiation data for a given site.
It is made specifically for cameras and hardware (OMount) sold by Regent Instruments.
The app must be activated by a key that comes when purchasing a complete WinSCANOPY system from Regent Instruments Inc (www.regentinstruments.com).
