The Sixteenth Conference of the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS)

After fifteen successful conferences (Capri 2004, Shanghai 2006, Anchorage 2008, Prague 2009, Florence 2010, Sydney 2011, Minneapolis 2012, Dubrovnik 2013, Qubec City 2014, Reykjavik, 2015 Portugal 2016, Hong Kong, 2017, Barcelona, 2018, Savannah, 2019, online, 2021), FIRS will be holding its next conference in Budapest, Hungary, on June 3-5, 2022.

The conference will begin in the afternoon of Friday, June 3, and it will conclude on Sunday, June 5.
The keynote address will be given by Raghuram Rajan, the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at Chicago Booth.
The conference venue is the Budapest Marriott Hotel.
The hotel is tucked along the banks of the Danube River, and is near some of Budapests most treasured landmarks, from the Chain Bridge to the Buda Castle.
It is about 15 miles from the Budapest Airport (BUD).
A conference dinner cruise will take place in the evening of Saturday, June 4
