iPhone app Film Review Search with Lucene

This app allows you to search a selected set of Stanford Large Movie Review Dataset (Andrew L.
Maas et al., 2011).
Enter keywords, and itll find titles or reviews that match the query.

The Stanford dataset is useful in natural-language processing researches, in particular sentiment analysis.
This app can serve as a tool to do a quick check for how related adjectives are to review rankings.

The search is powered by the Objective-C version of Apache Lucene, a popular search engine library.
Because of that, you can perform boolean queries such as great and movie.
In the retrieved reviews, matching keywords are properly highlighted.
You can search with either singular or plural word forms, since they are also handled by the search library.
You can therefore also use this app to see how Lucene works with real-world texts from a well-known dataset and to understand the different aspects of full-text search.,
