Welcome to TE MTAHI O TE TAU (7-11).

2022 is the first year that Aotearoa will celebrate the Mori new year with a public holiday.

The purpose of this app is to explore Mori traditions and knowledge around the Mori new year period and the stars that traditionally herald it, Matariki and Puanga.

Activities include exploring the stars, painting, drawing, story-writing, singing original waiata, meditation, puzzles, games and more.

We hope you have fun using our app.
