Entirely reworked and updated on the basis of the historical volume created by the Sansoni Lexicographic Center led by Vladimiro Macchi, this app provide a dictionary that responds to the need to follow the continuous evolution of the German language.
As well as being a comprehensive and up-to-date German-Italian dictionary as far as specialist scientific terminology is concerned, it also provides a record of the linguistic heritage of both languages, including that of the forms of German spoken in Austria and Switzerland.

This new edition compiled by Edigeo has been expanded with a vast number of neologisms and idiomatic expressions.
The dictionary meets the current needs of students and translators while preserving the terminology required for understanding literary classics and texts of the past.
The work conforms to the rules of the 2006 spelling reform, but in the German-Italian section old spellings are also given, cross-referenced to the new spellings.

The dictionary is the result of a cooperation directed by Edigeo, a publishing company that has worked closely with the major Italian publishers for years.

The apps interface has been redesigned to provide a simpler and more intuitive experience.
Each definition can be shared using the features available in the device, such as social media, e-mail, SMS, cloud.
A main menu that can be activated via an icon available at the top right of the screen enables all the features of the app:

Index search: displays in alphabetical order the headwords that match the characters typed in the search box

Advanced search: lets you search for headwords, in the phraseology, and in full text

Search Categories: allows you to narrow the search criteria

Settings: allows you to choose the font size of the definitions and the language of the interface

History: keeps a record of the searches performed

Abbreviations: displays a table with an explanation of the abbreviations used within the definitions

Feedback: use it to provide suggestions, and notify errors, missing entries or other comments

Our apps: displays an updated and detailed catalog of our offer

Privacy and Credits: view legal notices about the app
