Non-Chinese speaking students living in Hong Kong, but lack of interest in learning Chinese? Tired of rote learning? We come cross with Chinese words and sentences every day, give them a situation or a story, students will find it interesting to read.
Connecting the story to their daily life, learning Chinese will become easy and enjoyable.
Funded by the Language Fund, Open Knowledge Association published Living Chinese app, a set of life-oriented Chinese learning material designed for non-Chinese speaking students, suitable for students from elementary school to junior high school.
The content includes:
- 100 stories
- 4 major life themes: Me & My Family, School Life, Everyday Life and Experience Learning
- 3 levels: Very easy, Easy and Medium
- Various story format, including animation, comic and picture book
- Experiencing Learning is a series of stories encouraging students to practice using Chinese in daily life, and to know more about Hong Kong.
It enhances students sense of belonging to Hong Kong, and encourage students to learn Chinese through life practice.,
MyAndroid is not a downloader online for Living Chinese. It only allows to test online Living Chinese with apkid apple.hk.openknowledge.livelearnchi. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run Living Chinese online.
