Te Hiwa has been created to support you in learning more of Te Ao Mori the Mori world, Te Ara Kotahi - Our Mori Strategy and Te Mtangi - Our Mori Partnerships team.
Te Hiwa is a culturally important tool for Waka Kotahi and we hope that it helps you on your Mori cultural learning journey.

Interactive features within the app include pronunciation of Mori words, maps with Mori names, mihimihi/pepeha (introductions), ng mihi (greetings), Te Tirohanga (Mori orldview), whakatauk (proverbs), and waiata (songs).

One of the apps key features is that it allows staff to input their own personal information to create a customised pepeha or introduction.
