Berenberg Security App

The Berenberg Security App offers you the possibility to securely and quickly authenticate your logins and payments within the Berenberg Wealth Management Portal.
We do so by using state-of-the-art technology that meets the high protection requirements of your assets.

Protecting the access to the Security App with your biometric data provides you with a convenient and secure way of identifying yourself and confirming your actions in the Berenberg Wealth Management Portal.

Login authentication:

Once you have entered your username and password in the Login & Services section at www.berenberg.com, you will be asked to confirm the login request using your Berenberg Security App.
Open the app and select your Berenberg ID.
Click on confirm to grant yourself access to the portal.

Payment authentication:

Enter your payment in the Berenberg Wealth Management Portal and check the data you have submitted.
You will now be asked to authenticate the payment via the Berenberg Security App.
To do so, open the app and select your corresponding Berenberg ID.
The app will now show you the basic data of the payment to be authorized.
With just one click you can confirm or reject the payment order.

Activation of the Berenberg Security App:

After entering your username and initial password to the Berenberg Wealth Management Portal at www.my.berenberg.de, you will be asked to create a new password by entering it twice.
In the next step you will be asked to register the Berenberg Security App.
Select either Enter activation code or Scan QR code to start.
Afterwards, you will receive an e-mail to verify your identity.
In the e-mail you will find a confirmation code that is uniquely generated for you.
Please use this code for the final activation of the Berenberg Security App.

Prerequisites for app usage:

An agreement with Berenberg to use the Berenberg Wealth Management Portal was made.,
