Radiation Oncology Toolbox is an initiative to aggregate and compile the best evidence-based strategies for the prevention or treatment of toxicities secondary to radiation therapy.
Toxicities due to radiation therapy are a major source of treatment interruption and cessation and impact patients quality of life.
Strategies to mitigate these symptoms or potentially prevent them are critical to the optimal management of these patients.
We hope that the Radiation Oncology Toolbox will be a step towards identifying the best practices in supportive care for patients
The Symptom Pathways in the Radiation Oncology Toolbox are based upon the work and publications of MASCC (Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer).
