iTIVA Anesthesia Plus

iTIVA is a pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic simulation application that estimates the concentration of drugs in plasma using mathematical models.
It also simulates the behavior of a TCI (Target Controlled Infusion) pump, which calculates an infusion scheme to reach and maintain a set target concentration, either in plasma or effect site.
These schemes can be implemented in volumetric infusion pumps and guided using pharmacokinetic models for manual TCI or target guided infusions.

iTIVA includes a library with 27 drugs, 68 pharmacokinetic models, and 9 pharmacodynamic models to explore drug interactions, which are updated continuously with a yearly subscription.
The app also calculates the end-tidal (Et) concentration for a set MAC age for Isoflurane, Sevoflurane, and Desflurane, using the Mapleson equation.

This optional paid subscription service provides access to new PK/PD models as they become available in the literature, the ability to simulate up to 7 drugs at a time, unlimited simulations without time restrictions, and 24-hour support.

Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable
