The app aims to support better shared decision-making discussions between patients, their caregivers, and their healthcare providers on the risk of stroke due to the diagnosis of AFib.
AFib 2gether has been recognized by the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) as a quality education tool.
The Heart Rhythm Society is an international nonprofit organization that promotes education and advocacy for cardiac arrhythmia professionals and patients.

For patients with AFib and their caregivers:

Provides information and tools to increase knowledge about the condition of AFib and potential risks.
App resources include educational information from trusted cardiac experts, educational videos, links to informative websites plus facts about AFib and overall health.
The app allows patients to answer personal questions related to their AFib diagnosis and email or share a PDF of that information with their provider to help inform an evaluation of the patients risk of stroke, based on their personal health factors.
Patients may also review a list of questions they may want to ask their healthcare provider during their next appointment.
