Based in Newport News, Virginia, Youth Volunteer Corps of Hampton Roads is a nonprofit youth development organization with the mission of creating and increasing volunteer opportunities that enrich the lives of Hampton Roads youth, addressing community needs and inspiring young people to embrace a lifetime ethic of service.
We utilize team-based, service-learning volunteer opportunities for young people as a conduit to teach workplace readiness skills, enhance academic performance, inspire a lifelong commitment to volunteerism, establish community connections, and address the needs of recipient nonprofit organizations.
