Beat Doctor helps musicians understand how their tempo varies over time.
Beat Doctor listens to the microphone and reports the tempo of what it hears - in real time.

As Beat Doctor listens, it creates a graph of the tempo over time.
When you are done recording, you can touch anywhere in the graph to play back from that point.
Touch again to stop.
Using two fingers, you can pan and zoom the graph.

Beat Doctor works best with music with a strong beat, but isnt afraid to guess when it needs to.
You can expect Beat Doctor to be thrown off by musical conventions such as triplets and polyrhythms.
Beat Doctor uses a red, yellow, green color scheme to indicate its confidence.

Beat Doctor isnt perfect and I hope it will continue to get better and better.
As a musician myself, I can use it.
