Slinky Malinki - Matching Pairs

A fun matching pairs game that introduces pre-schoolers to te Reo Mori words and phrases on a Christmas theme.

The game is part of a series of mobile apps designed to introduce te Reo Mori words and phrases to pre-schoolers in a fun and playful way.
The rest of the series will include puzzles about shopping, being on the road, and packing for Khanga reo.
The aim is to bring the sound and meaning of te Reo Mori into everyday classroom and home activities.

The series is funded by Te Mngai Pho, the Government Mori language agency operating in the broadcast sector.
Te Mngai Phos purpose is to promote Mori language and Mori culture.
This initiative forms part of a strategy to explore opportunities offered by new media to reach diverse audiences.
