�FR NFC ePassport Reader

ABOUT

This demo app is used for reading and verifying NFC chips in e-Passports using either external NFC Reader (FR Series by Digital Logic) or phones NFC chip.

App verifies the NFC chip in the Machine Readable Travel Document (MRTD) using optically captured (OCR) information from the documents Machine Readable Zone (MRZ).

If you dont want to scan your document using your phone camera, you can type in the MRZ data manually.

Once the NFC chip is verified, app displays document holders biometric data and document validity.

PRIVACY

We dont collect or store any personal information.
Data is kept only in devices memory and is deleted as soon as you close the app.

SUPPORTED DEVICES

This app works with any of the following NFC readers: FR Nano, FR Classic, FR Classic CS and FR Advance.

FR Nano Online (NFC Reader with Wireless and Bluetooth communication) will be supported in the next app version (release date Q1 2020).
