The Name:

Impimpi is the Zulu word for an informer.
An informer can be defined as a person who tells authorities about improper or illegal activity.

The Bird:

The Grey Lourie has a strange behaviour which gives it the nickname of the Go away bird.
This bird is a very vocal bird when alarmed, who emits a long nasal sounding call which sounds like gowaaaay while jerking its tail.
Because of this give away call, they are helpful to prey animals who are alerted when a predator or hunters enter their territory.,
