You can do it using our Android online emulator.
Hardware design ( THAS ) should be control thru following media

HTTP / MQTT ( Openahb ) using Wifi network

Virtual Switch and Pot

IR remote.

Bluetooth.

Wifi
Also Integrated IP camera room wise it can be configure
User can use any one of the media available or accessible at their convenient point.
You should able to control and see the status of your device using openhab .either operate thru IR remote/virtual switches/ Bluetooth this way HAS is control Four way .
and status update on openhab if openhab application run on computer or mobile.
User can control and Home activity from any where.
