Run this app named Saumitra using MyAndroid.
You can do it using our Android online emulator.
Saumitra not only provides the needed support to people in difficult times, but also the satisfaction of volunteering.
It connects the help seekers to the people willing to volunteer around them so that an exchange of assistance can take place.
Whether you need help or wish to help others, Saumitra is the platform for you.
It allows the users to post help requests specifying the details of the needed help.
These requests can be accepted by the people in the locality of the help seeker to provide the assistance.
Saumitra also allows the user to ask for urgent help and emergency support.
Please note - This app operates in small units (generally a residential complex).
This means that people in a unit will be helped by volunteers of the same unit and vice-versa.
User verification is done with the help of the RWA of that residential complex.
How to use the app:
For asking for help- in order to post help requests press on new request button on top left of the default screen after signing up or logging in.
Select a task to be helped in and type its details.
Specify the date, time, duration and location (if different from what was given during sign up) of the help needed.
Press on create request to upload the request.
To edit the details of a request click on the update/cancel button and then select a request to edit or cancel.
A request CAN NOT be edited if already accepted.
Once a request is completed by a volunteer, remember to close it by pressing the close request button.
Then select a request to close and give feedback.
For helping- in order to help, swipe the default screen to get to the volunteer screen.
Then choose a help request and press accept.
To cancel an accepted request, press on the cancel request button and select a request to cancel.
To view a log of accepted requests press on old requests button and select a request to see its details.
It the request has been completed, you will also be able to see the feedback given by the person you helped.
Reminders- swipe right twice on the default screen to go to the reminders page.
There you will be able to see the details of requests uploaded or accepted by you which are due for that day.
Emergency- when in need of urgent assistance or emergency support, click on the emergency button on the bottom of every screen.
This would enable you to make a phone call to the admin of your area who will then call the required agencies or his immediate response team of volunteers to manage the situation.
The button will also send a SMS message to the admin giving details like your name, phone number and your current location, to enable him to send help.
Settings- the settings button on the bottom right of all screens give details on how to use the app and the helpline numbers to contact for queries and complaints.
It also enables you to edit your personal information given during sign up.
To do so go to profile and change the details you wish to update.
Then press submit to save the changes.

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for Saumitra. It only allows to test online Saumitra with apkid appinventor.ai.manaswinee.gupta.saumitra. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run Saumitra online.
