You can do it using our Android online emulator.
This app uses Xeno-Canto's open API to find, list, and listen to bird sound recordings from around the world.
Sound recordings can be searched by bird name (common or scientific) and sound recording length.
Searches can be narrowed based on text matches against data fields including location, country, recorder's name.
Searches can also be narrowed by selecting area from map.
In addition to playing the recording, individual items display recording details, recording location on map, and bird image and bird information from Wikipedia.
The app makes it possible for the user to go from the recording to the record at the Xeno-Canto site and to go directly to Wikipedia and other sites hosting information about the bird.
This is not an official Xeno-Canto app.
