Objective
An application that provides the users with a platform where users can make their shopping list based on predetermined categories and then ask for help from other nearby users on the app to get these delivered to them.
3 Types of users
Going out: The users who are going out for shopping nearby
Look out: The users who are looking for nearby people going out for shopping, so that they can ask for help with their shopping list as well (home delivery).
Local Retailer : Users in addition to other users can send personal requests to Local shops.
Idea
When I used to visit my hometown, out of all the memories I have, one is very clear, probably because it almost never happens in cities like Mumbai.
Whenever I was going to the shop, our neighbor would ask me if I was going to the shop, she would ask me to bring something for her and ask me to get myself a chocolate too, sometimes I would ask her myself if she needed anything when I was going to the shop.
The Idea of this app is to take this very important social behavior, which might be the key to make every neighborhood stronger than ever and give it a digital platform using technology.
Going out
User will be able to view requests within the set radius along with the following information.
Name, Address, Shopping category, Payment portals available, order no.
distance and an option to accept the order.
Look out
The user will be able to view the Volunteers based on category of shopping along with the following details.
Name, address, category, %tip demand, age, distance, rating and an option to send request.
My shopping list
The user will be first asked to select the categories of the items, then will add the items in the list and then will enter an approximate bill amount to view to the volunteers.
On clicking continue the user will be taken to next page to review the order with own address which will be the default address (the user will be given an option to change the address), shopping list and then an approximate bill amount adding 10% tip.
The user will be asked to enter a target time by which the task should be completed (only for volunteer).
Then the user can select whether he/she is Going out or Looking out.
All Tasks.
In the Home page, We have a All Tasks section, when the user clicks on it, he/she will be able to view the current tasks going on(pending/accepted/cancelled/completed).
My Orders/view details
Both the help seeker and the volunteer will have a page to view the request in full page with the following details.
User Going Out
Order date, time, order no.
, approximate bill, quantity, accepted date, Name(help seeker), address(seeker), Items in his order, payment portals used by seeker, an option to enter the final bill amount, an option to upload the bill, Chat option with the seeker, and finish order.
User Looking Out
Order date, time, order no.
, approximate bill, quantity, accepted date, Name(Volunteer), address(volunteer), Items in his order, payment portals used by volunteer, an option to chat with the volunteer.
Profile
The user will be able to edit his/her profile in this section, the following are the details available here.
Display Picture, Name, Email ID, Address, country, state, city, pincode, Date of birth, phone no., an option to add % tip( this will be the tip the user will charge when he acts as a volunteer), an option to add names of Payment portals used by the user, and an option for the user to set the radius within which the user wants to operate the app.
Chats.
All the chats will be separately available in the chat section, in case a user needs to refer to his/her previous conversation with any other user.
The chats will be temporarily disabled after the order is complete between 2 users and it will be archived after 30 days of completing the order.
