TrackM2M provides an FMCSA certified eLog/ELD plus DVIR Android app for truck drivers in USA and Canada to install on Android phones, tablets and specialized platforms such as TomTom Bridge.
An eLog/ELD account with TrackM2M.com Inc is required to log into the system and create a back-end database for retaining the Hours of Service and DVIR records with the required 6 month history.
These log records can also be accessed through a web portal for use by the truck carrier's administrative personnel.
The TrackM2M-VisTracks app stands out from many competitive systems because of its ability to withstand longer periods of time without internet connectivity.
Once internet connectivity is resumed with the device, the app is able to perform a sync operation to align its data with the back-end database.
Beyond the legal requirements for ELD, this app provides additional features that may be useful to some truck carrier operations including photo/text documentation and IFTA data collection and reporting tools.
