This simple application is the perfect companion to support the patient in complying to the protocol required when taking Nilotinib.This application allows you to:
-quickly identify how much time is left before you can eat or should take your medicine for the morning and the evening intake
-set up alarms for the different phases, i.e.
"eating forbidden", "take medicine" or "eating allowed".
Each alarm is individually configurable for the morning and evening intake
The application is provided with two widgets.
The medicine Nilotinib (produced by Novartis under the name Tasigna for the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia, CML) requires the patient to follow a strict protocol.
Nilotinib has to be taken every 12 hours on a empty stomach: the patient should stop eating at least 2 hours before taking the medicine and 1 hour after.
