Sports Bar Athletic Football Club was born in April 2014 when a group of friends decided to unite and create their own football team to compete in the Tamworth and District Sunday Football League.Whilst a large number of the players had played for other teams in the past, this was the first time they'd all signed for the same team.
Four people run the club, Martyn Stevens, Aaron Stevens, Tom Hatton and Tim Ward but everyone who's registered to the team helps out and plays their part.
