ShakeRate asks you to give feedback on live music events - both for bands and venues.
Of course, you aren't going to take a survey during a live event -- we want you to stay focused on enjoying the show! So, we've designed it to be minimally intrusive.
Any time during the show, you can shake the phone, whenever the spirit moves you.
You'll see a stats page with your shakes and shares compared to others (along with a link to a leader board).
The app calls you by a sometimes silly, music-related nickname, which you can ask the app to update from the leader board.
If you do happen to be looking at your phone, you can scroll through images from the show that you or others have taken.
Never miss an awesome solo again because you're at the bar or too far back! When the band leaves the stage, press "Rate", just like at the end of an Uber ride.
If there is more than one band at the show, you'll see them one at a time, and transition between them with the Rate button.
(You can also skip a band if you came in late or spent the time at the bar and didn't watch them.) At the end, you'll get a similar screen for rating the venue.
You can also leave an optional "testimonial" text comment for either the bands or the venue.
After rating the band and venue, you will see a social media page with links to every platform each band is on.
