After popping 3 balloons (or 5 on hard difficulty) you will go on steroid mode: You will be moving faster and balloons dropping faster.

If you miss the balloon you lose a life.

If you are on steroid mode and pop 3 balloons in a row (5 on hard), you will regenerate 1 life, until you are back to 3 lives.

1 score for each balloon, 3 for each balloon in steroid mode (5 score for steroid mode on hard difficulty)
