The NY Geo Con 2013 is the NYS GIS Conference 2.0! The NYS GIS Association is pleased to be working with Delaney Meeting and Event Management (the same folks that do NEARC) for NY Geo Con 2013 and we look forward to hosting a great event this year!This year, the conference will feature a hybrid model in which we will have a number of “invited” speakers discussing new topics on technology and industry directions as well as “volunteered” presentations by GIS peers in New York.

About the NYS GIS Association
The New York State GIS Association assists, educates, coordinates and guides the implementation, development and maintenance of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology in the State of New York.
The Association’s primary goals and objectives are to:
- Support development of the GIS profession throughout the state of New York
- Assist, educate, and contribute towards the implementation and development of GIS technology in the state of New York.
- Foster a spirit of cooperation among local, state and federal agencies, educational institutions and the private sector in addressing priority GIS issues and data development initiatives for New York.
