ithinksport is for sports people of all levels who are keen to learn about common psychological issues in sport and useful strategies and programmes to help with performance.

The physical and mental side of sport goes hand in hand and cannot easily be separated.
Thoughts, behaviours and emotions are all part of competitive sports participation and are just as important to ‘train’ as the body and just as important to learn as the ‘technical’ and ‘tactical’.
However, very few sports people understand the importance of the mental side of sport and how much of a powerful effect it can have on performance.
Our site is underpinned by the scientific theory of performance psychology and is one of a kind when it comes to supporting sports people with their development.

Whether it's performing badly under pressure in basketball, struggling to learn a new move in Judo, losing motivation during the Football season, missing an easy putt on the Golf course or fearing re-injury in Hockey, ithinksport provides the everyday sports person with the information and guidance to become a better performer.

The ithinksport management team consists of two people that are dedicated to bringing sport psychology education to sports people of all abilities.
Our educational and career background includes psychology, applied sport science, applied sport psychology, sports coaching, strength and conditioning and sports development.
